House of Hound Hydrotherapy

House of Hound Hydrotherapy was founded in 2017 and is based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, within easy access to the M1 on the boarder of South Yorkshire. We boast both a pool and state of the art aqua treadmill and have an ACPAT Chartered Physiotherapist,
and two Veterinary Physiotherapists and fully qualified NARCH Registered Hydrotherapists.

Offering both aquatic and land-based treatment our centre is top of the range with equipment - including Class 3b & 4 Laser Therapy. Only qualified staff undertake any session and we focus on a holistic approach and treat the dog as a whole.This also includes help and support on how to manage and exercise your dog at home and on walks.

All dogs are aided from start to finish in each session and owners are a vital part of this process. We use therapeutic handling and kindness - and work entirely at the pace of the dog.
We are fully qualified to undertake insurance work, although owners who self fund are also welcome.

Our sessions include, safe introduction to water, weight management, puppy confidence and OAP treatment to help with function and movement - allowing older dogs to keep as comfortable as possible, for as long as possible. We are also Level 1 advocates in Canine Arthritis Management and can owners in this area.

Our sessions are based around the needs of your dog. If it is fitness for the athletic or energetic dog, rehabilitation post-surgery, confidence for puppies or to shed a few pounds, we can help !!
