Little Barn Hydrotherapy

We are a swimming pool designed for dogs in Hereford that can help with
- support for physical conditions such as ligament damage, hip dysplasia
- pre-operative muscle toning
- post-operative rehabilitation
- osteoarthritis
- weight loss
- neurological conditions
- fitness swimming for agility and fly ball dogs
- general fun and fitness swimming
- puppy swimming
I have a 5m x 2m (16.4′ by 6.7′) above ground pool, with swim jets when required. The water will be kept at a comfortable 30 degrees.
Water hygiene is extremely important. The chemical and PH balance are tested twice a day. The pool has a water purification system.
Access to the pool is via a ramp with a non-slip surface. The pool also has an internal ramp which helps with access into the water and a resting place between swims.
At little Barn Hydrotherapy I specialise in single hydrotherapy sessions where dogs swim in a 1 to1 safe, clean, warm environment. Each dog wears a float coat and has me in the pool working with them, this is the same for both hydrotherapy and fun swimming.
Dogs will be showered before and after their swim and owners can towel dry them before leaving for home.
